The founder and managing director Maria Dörr has lived permanently at the Holiway Garden Resort & SPA since the start of construction in 2009. Beside of her the management team is consisting of her brother Hermann and the Balinese manager Wayan. Together they are guiding the daily life of the resort with their caring eyes. Maria's background as an experienced Feng Shui consultant has been instrumental in making Holiway Garden what it is today. She is happy to share her knowledge of how Feng Shuis works with guests in special workshops.
Holiway Garden also lives through the people who create, serve and smile in the resort every day.

Almost 50 local employees pursue with full authenticity and cordiality the goal of giving their guests the feeling of being at home "in paradise". Their smiles and positive attitude to life play a decisive role in shaping the atmosphere at the resort. We are proud and grateful to be able to call so many wonderful and competent people our employees.
All employees come from the surrounding area and most of them were trained locally. It is important to us that every employee has the opportunity to grow and develop personally. Therefore, we offer them opportunities for advancement and support them in their further training.

Der „Heilige Weg“, der „Holy Way“, der durch das Resort führt stand Pate für den Namen. „Holiway“ steht für Spiritualität aber auch dafür das Leben ganzheitlich zu betrachten als Zusammenspiel von Körper, Geist und Seele – a holistic way of life.
